Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and any diagrams.

Part (a) · 1 mark

Work out the coordinates of the point halfway between A (2, 4) and B (5, −2).

  1. 1((2 + 5)/2, (4 + (−2))/2)
  2. 2= (3.5, 1)

Answer(3.5, 1)

Part (b) · 2 marks
