اقرأ هذا الحل مشروحاً بالعربي ←
The question, in short
Using a grid with line L through (0, 5) and (5, 0) as a mirror, and given vertices A at (1, 2) and B at (3, 1), work out the coordinates of the remaining two corners of the quadrilateral.
Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and the diagram.
Solution · 2 marks
- 1Reflect A and B in line L (x + y = 5), which sends (x, y) to (5 − y, 5 − x)
- 2A(1, 2) → (3, 4)
- 3B(3, 1) → (4, 2)
- 4Other vertices: (4, 2) and (3, 4)
Answer(4, 2) and (3, 4)
