اقرأ هذا الحل مشروحاً بالعربي ←

The question, in short

A hexagon has three given interior angles of 110°, 140° and 150°; the remaining three are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 5. Calculate the largest angle.

Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and any diagrams.

Solution · 4 marks

  1. 1Sum of interior angles = (6 − 2) × 180 = 720°
  2. 2Remaining = 720 − (110 + 140 + 150) = 320°
  3. 3One part = 320 ÷ (2 + 3 + 5) = 32°
  4. 4Largest = 5 × 32 = 160°
