Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and any diagrams.

Solution · 3 marks

  1. 1(12 − (−48)) / (−5 − 19) = 60 / (−24) = −2.5
  2. 2y − 12 = −2.5(x + 5)
  3. 3y = −2.5x − 12.5 + 12
  4. 4y = −2.5x − 0.5

Answery = −2.5x − 0.5
