The question, in short
Answer four short questions: count edges of a square-based pyramid, draw a congruent shape to T on a grid, state rotational symmetry order of a parallelogram, and read a weight from a scale.
Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and the diagram.
Part (a) · 1 mark
State how many edges a square-based pyramid has.
- 1Count the edges of the solid shape.
- 2The solid has 8 edges.
Answer8
Part (b) · 1 mark
Draw on the grid a shape identical in size and form to triangle T.
- 1Identify the shape T on the grid.
- 2Draw a congruent shape in a different position or orientation.
AnswerA copy of shape T with the same side lengths and angles, drawn anywhere on the grid
Part (c) · 1 mark
Give the order of rotational symmetry for the parallelogram shown.
- 1Observe the parallelogram.
- 2It looks the same after rotating 180 degrees.
- 3Full turn symmetry: 360 ÷ 180 = 2.
Answer2
Part (d) · 1 mark
Read and state the mass indicated by the arrow on the scale.
- 1Look at the scale: marks are at 100, 200, 300, 400 kg.
- 2The arrow is between 200 and 300.
- 3Each small division represents 20 kg.
- 4From 200, count 2 divisions: 200 + 40 = 240.
