Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics 0580 · Paper 12 (Core) · Calculator · 2 marks

اقرأ هذا الحل مشروحاً بالعربي ←

The question, in short

A triangle ABC has angles 73° at A and 59° at B, with side AC extended to D. Work out the sizes of angle x (at C inside the triangle) and angle y (at C outside it).

Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and the diagram.

Solution · 2 marks

  1. 1x = 180 − 73 − 59 = 48 (angles in a triangle add to 180°)
  2. 2y = 180 − 48 = 132 (angles on a straight line add to 180°)
  3. 3x = 48, y = 132

Answerx = 48, y = 132
