The question, in short
Given a length of 4.5 m rounded to the nearest 10 cm, complete the double inequality showing the range of possible values for l.
Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and any diagrams.
Solution · 2 marks
- 1Nearest 10 cm = 0.1 m, half of this is 0.05 m
- 24.5 − 0.05 = 4.45 and 4.5 + 0.05 = 4.55
- 34.45 ≤ l < 4.55
Answer4.45 ≤ l < 4.55
