Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and any diagrams.
Solution · 3 marks
- 1(n + 3)!/((n − 3)! 6!) = 12 × (n + 2)!/((n − 3)! 5!)
- 2(n + 3)!/(n + 2)! = n + 3 and 6!/5! = 6
- 3(n + 3)/6 = 12
- 4n + 3 = 72, n = 69
Answern = 69
