The question, in short

A pentagon has four given exterior angles of 150°, 100°, 45° and 35°; find the fifth exterior angle, and find the interior angle of a regular decagon.

Part (a) · 2 marks

Using the four exterior angles 150°, 100°, 45° and 35° of a pentagon, work out the size of the fifth exterior angle.

  1. 1Exterior angles add to 360°
  2. 2360 − (150 + 100 + 45 + 35) = 360 − 330 = 30°

Answer30

Part (b) · 2 marks

Work out the size of one interior angle in a regular decagon.
