The question, in short

Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and the diagram.
Part (a) · 3 marks
Fill in all the missing cell and total values in the two-way table using the given numbers.
- 1Small total = 60 − 33 = 27
- 2Small orange = 27 − 7 - 14 = 6
- 3Large blue = 23 − 7 = 16
- 4Large yellow = 33 − 13 − 16 = 4
- 5Orange total = 6 + 13 = 19
- 6Yellow total = 14 + 4 = 18
- 7Check: 19 + 23 + 18 = 60
- 8Missing entries: 6, 27, 16, 4, 19, 18
Answer6, 27, 16, 4, 19, 18
Part (b) · 1 mark
State the probability that a brick chosen at random from the bag is blue.
- 1There are 23 blue bricks out of 60
- 2Probability = 23/60
Answer23/60
Part (c) · 2 marks
State the probability that a randomly chosen large brick is orange.
- 1There are 33 large bricks
