Part (a) · 1 mark
Write c multiplied by itself five times as a single power.
- 1c is multiplied by itself 5 times, so c × c × c × c × c = c⁵
Answerc⁵
Part (b) · 1 mark
Find the value of x that makes 5 plus x equal 12.
