Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and any diagrams.
Solution · 3 marks
- 1(4x + 1)(x − 3) = 4x² − 12x + x − 3 = 4x² − 11x − 3
- 2(4x² − 11x − 3)(5x + 6) = 4x²(5x + 6) − 11x(5x + 6) − 3(5x + 6)
- 3= 20x³ + 24x² − 55x² − 66x − 15x − 18
- 4= 20x³ − 31x² − 81x − 18
Answer20x³ − 31x² − 81x − 18
