Summarised in our own words. Use the official paper for the exact wording and any diagrams.

Solution · 4 marks

  1. 1Sold at 22: 70% of 60 = 42, takes 42 × 22 = 924
  2. 2Sold at 19: 18 × 19 = 342, so income = 924 + 342 = 1266
  3. 3Profit = 1266 − 780 = 486
  4. 4Percentage profit = 486 ÷ 780 × 100 = 62.3
