Part (a) · 3 marks

Calculate the average number of school lunches per student using the frequencies given for 0 to 5 lunches.

  1. 10 × 2 = 0
  2. 21 × 5 = 5
  3. 32 × 11 = 22
  4. 43 × 7 = 21
  5. 54 × 4 = 16
  6. 65 × 1 = 5
  7. 70 + 5 + 22 + 21 + 16 + 5 = 69
  8. 869 ÷ 30 = 2.3

Answer2.3
