Solution · 4 marks

  1. 1Cake A: 4/15 × 1200 = 320 g
  2. 2Left for B and C: 1200 − 320 = 880 g
  3. 3Ratio 3 : 8 has 11 parts: 880 ÷ 11 = 80 g per part
  4. 4Cake B = 3 × 80 = 240 g and cake C = 8 × 80 = 640 g
  5. 5Cakes A, B, C: 320, 240, 640

Answer320, 240, 640
