Solution · 4 marks
- 1The mode is 80, so another mark is 80
- 2The range is 16, so the lowest mark is 80 − 16 = 64
- 3In order: 64, 68, 72, x, 75, 77, 80, 80; the median is the mean of the 4th and 5th
- 4(x + 75) ÷ 2 = 74, so x = 73
- 5Missing marks: 64, 73, 80
Answer64, 73, 80
