Solution · 4 marks
- 1Bottom rectangle: 28 × 12 = 336, so the top part is 434 − 336 = 98
- 2The top part is a trapezium with height 20 − 12 = 8
- 3Its bottom side is 28 − 5 − 5 = 18
- 4½ × (18 + CD) × 8 = 98, so 18 + CD = 24.5
- 5CD = 6.5
