Solution · 2 marks
- 1Raising a fraction to a power raises the numerator and the denominator to that power.
- 2(m⁶ k¹⁰ / 25)^(3/2) = (m⁶)^(3/2) × (k¹⁰)^(3/2) ÷ 25^(3/2)
- 3(m⁶)^(3/2) = m^(6 × 3/2) = m⁹
- 4(k¹⁰)^(3/2) = k^(10 × 3/2) = k¹⁵
- 525^(3/2) = (√25)³ = 5³ = 125
- 6So the expression is m⁹ k¹⁵ / 125, giving a = 9, b = 15 and c = 125
Answera = 9, b = 15, c = 125
