Solution · 3 marks

  1. 1P(not green) = 1 − 2/5 = 3/5
  2. 2Red and blue: 7 + 5 = 12 counters, which is 3/5 of the bag
  3. 31/5 of the bag = 12 ÷ 3 = 4 counters
  4. 4Total counters = 4 × 5 = 20
  5. 5Green = 20 − 12 = 8
