Solution · 4 marks
- 11 − (0.24 + 0.4) = 0.36
- 20.36 represents the total probability for mystery and thriller, which are in the ratio 3x : x, so 4x = 0.36
- 30.36 ÷ 4 = 0.09
- 4x = 0.09, so mystery = 3 × 0.09 = 0.27
- 548 ÷ 0.24 = 200 (total number of members)
- 60.27 × 200 = 54
