Solution · 4 marks

  1. 1A total of 0 needs DDD (0 + 0 + 0) or one win and two losses (10 − 5 − 5)
  2. 2P(DDD) = 0.5³ = 0.125
  3. 3One win, two losses in 3 orders: 3 × 0.3 × 0.2 × 0.2 = 0.036
  4. 40.125 + 0.036 = 0.161

Answer0.161
